In a 1-1 week for the Lancers, Eguatu averaged 6.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and two blocks. He scored seven points with 11 boards, two blocks, and an assist in the 63-49 win over Framingham State. Eguatu then netted six points, eight rebounds, and two blocks in the 71-69 setback to MCLA.
"He has really progressed this year and become much more comfortable on the court," said head coach David Lindberg. "His consistency in practice and coach-ability have been a major factor in his progress."
The Worcester State men's basketball team hits the road this weekend, traveling to Fitchburg State on Saturday (Feb. 10) for a 2 p.m. game.
