Worcester, MA --- Terrence Gibson is the first male athlete to win a national title at Worcester State University. But the Rockland High graduate is not quite satisfied. The sophomore sprinter blazed to the 60-meter hurdles title at the NCAA Division 3 Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday held at North Central College in Illinois.
Rockland, MA --- When Worcester State sophomore Terrence Gibson of Rockland won the 60-meter hurdles national championship on Saturday at the NCAA Division 3 Indoor Track & Field Championships at North Central College in Naperville, Ill., he still felt like he could have done better.
Naperville, IL --- Sophomore Terrence Gibson was the first athlete from Worcester State to qualify for the Division III NCAA championships in 12 years and now he is going home as the first male athlete in school history to bring home a national crown.

Worcester, MA --- Duy Truong crouched down and settled into a sprinter’s stance, his body perfectly still and properly balanced. He raised his head and, at the crack of the starter’s gun, burst out of the blocks. Five hurdles and 60 meters later, the Worcester State University sophomore crossed the finish line in 8.42 seconds. It was a personal-best time.

Lewiston, ME ---Sophomore classmates Terrence Gibson and Duy Truong each earned All-New England individual accolades in two events as they helped propel the Worcester State men’s indoor track and field team to seventh place at the Division III New England Championships on Saturday afternoon hosted by Bates.

Gorham, ME --- Paced by sophomore Terrence Gibson, the Worcester State men’s indoor track and field team placed third in both the MASCAC/Alliance this evening at the University of Southern Maine.
Medford, MA --- Sophomore Duy Truong took home first in the 60 meters , fourth in the long jump and sixth in the 60 meter hurdles to help lead the Worcester State men's indoor track and field team to sixth place at the Tufts Stampede Invitational.
