Jessica B

I am a certified group exercise instructor who enjoys the challenge of motivating each individual to meet their fitness goals. I began taking yoga as a young teenager and have continued my yoga practice for over 20 years.  I have been a certified yoga instructor for 11 years, and specialized in prenatal, postnatal, and Hatha yoga. I am also an occupational therapy assistant and enjoy modifying the practice to the individual needs of each participant.
My teaching style is meant to encourage you to exceed your expectations of yourself.

Mary F

I love yoga! My yoga practice makes me healthy and happy every day! It is as important to me as sunshine and fresh air. I teach yoga to bring joy, strength and health to my students. I have practiced yoga for more than 10 years, and taught yoga since 2010.  I received my 200 hour RYT and 500 hour RYT from Central Mass Yoga, West Boylston, MA.

My classes are a mixture of the Iyengar style to develop an understanding and mastery of the postures and flow to improve cardiovascular health and just have fun! I develop my classes by sequencing postures to both strengthen and relax the body. Guiding students to develop individual expressions of the postures so that they can explore their edge. Holding postures at the edge, students receive benefits: strength, flexibility and balance as well as an integrated sense of wellness.

Martial arts are a passion of mine and I plan to continue progressing my skills as well as help others grow theirs.

Tabitha S

For the past fifteen years I have been helping my community reach their health and fitness goals. My journey began with an injury as a consequence of poor training habits while training for my first of many marathons. It was during my physical therapy treatment that I became intrigued in the mind + body and its relationship with not only movement but health.
I became engulfed in all things fitness and athletic training with an emphasis on marathon training and found PIYO as a result. Since my journey began I have taught thousands of classes throughout New England and coached hundreds of runners to their first races.

Joanne L -  Pink Gloves Boxing

Pink Gloves Boxing is an empowering, weekly, fitness program for women looking to live healthier lives and relieve stress in a fun environment. As a WSU student, attending this class was the highlight of my week. It boosted my confidence and introduced me to a strong community of friends and mentors that pushed me to succeed inside and outside of class. Now, as an alumna and certified instructor for the program, my goal is to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience learning the art of boxing and how to be the healthiest version of themselves.

Kayden O  -  Pink Gloves Boxing

My name is Kayden O’Sullivan and I’m currently a nursing major in the class of 2021. I fell in love with Pink Gloves Boxing as a freshman and knew I’d love to be an instructor. The friendships, empowerment and stress relieving atmosphere are what make PGB a great group fitness class. I look forward to seeing what PGB can bring future participants.

Danielle D

Licensed to teach both Zumba and Zumba Toning, I’ve been an instructor for four years. Because of my career as a medical editor, I’ve always valued the importance of exercise and its many benefits. A Latin-inspired dance-fitness program, Zumba provides a fantastic way to combine FUN with fitness: I love watching my students lose themselves in the music while they torch calories and build strength, endurance, and confidence.

Since starting DDPY in 2012, I’ve seen tremendous changes in my balance, strength, and flexibility. I enjoy challenging myself to see what I can do next, whether it’s an inversion, a tricky position, or a workout that seems particularly tough. My goal is to help you find the same mental and physical strength to “namaslay” everything and own your life!

My workouts are suitable for all fitness levels – no yoga experience necessary!
