Crawford Named MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week
Buzzards Bay, MA --- Freshman Devlin Crawford has been selected as this week’s MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week for helping pace the Lancers at the non-scoring Co-Ed Invitational. For Crawford this is his first career weekly honor and it is also first this season for the men's indoor track and field team.
Buzzards Bay, MA --- Freshman Devlin Crawford has been selected as this week's MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week for helping pace the Lancers at the non-scoring Co-Ed Invitational. For Crawford this is his first career weekly honor and it is also first this season for the men's indoor track and field team.
Crawford, a product of Randolph, MA, placed second in the 400 meters (51.30) and fourth in the 200 meters (23.26) while he helped anchor the last leg of the 4x400 relay to third place with a time of 3:34.08.
Since starting off the semester, Crawford has qualified for both the ECAC's and Division III New England Championships in the 200 and 400 meter dashes.
Next week the Lancers will compete at the second Tufts Invitational as a warm-up to the MASCAC/New England Alliance Championships the following week.
