Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Lancers traveled to MASCAC tournament hosts Framingham State today to face off in the first round of the MASCAC tournament versus Mass Maritime. This was the fourth time the teams have faced each other in the past week as they closed out the regular season taking two of three from the Buccaneers.

North Myrtle Beach, SC- Weather has made the Worcester State Baseball team’s schedule a bit of a roller coaster in the opening days of their Spring Break games at the Cal Ripken Training Center, forcing a number of late night starts. Those late nights caught up with the Lancers as they squared off with McDaniel in a pushed back game initially scheduled for 6:30pm that was moved to 8pm.

The team took the field in their first game of their spring break trip down in Myrtle Beach at the Cal Ripken Experience. The Lancers came away with a commanding victory after a sixth inning scoring fest, taking the win with a final of 11-3.
