Lancers Faceoff With Keene in Non-Conference Battle
Worcester, MA- The Lancers Baseball team (15-17, 13-8) hit the road for their second to last non conference road trip of the regular season as they journeyed to Keene State to face the Owls this afternoon in a nine-inning battle. As the season comes to a close two Lancers are actively on their hunt for their 100th career hits as senior Nathan Thurber (Framingham, MA) and junior Ryan Jewett (Natick, MA) looked for some added fuel to close out the season.

How it Happened:
The Owls would get on the board first early in the non-conference end of season meeting, recording a run in the bottom of the first to claim the early 1-0 lead. The bottom of the third would tack on another run for Keene and while Worcester would attempt to find runners crossing the plate, through an additional six innings Keene State managed to tack on an additional 10 runs for a 12-0 lead.
Worcester would look for a late surge but a quick top of the ninth would see the Owls claim the shutout win.
What's Next:
The Lancers (15-18, 13-8) are back home on Friday as they host MCLA in their senior day meeting at 3pm on Kevin D. Lyons Diamond.
