Westfield, MA — A total of 1,390 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall/Winter 2023 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – 58 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) student-athletes have been recognized for their outstanding sportsmanship as members of the 2023 Fall Sportsmanship Team.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Lancers (1-8, 1-6 MASCAC) kicked off against the Framingham St. (4-4, 4-3 MASCAC) in the team’s final game of the season. Today was Senior Day where graduate students Mason Broyles (Millbury, MA), Melke Shabo (Paxton, MA), and Ryan Justin (Fitchburg, MA) were honored along with seniors Dan DiVerdi (Sterling, MA), Mike Loveless (Nashua, NH), Curt Marshall (Taunton, MA), and Deion Osei-Sarpong (Holden, MA) for their dedication and contributions made to the team. Worcester, MA- The Lancers Football team hit the road for the last time in the 2023 season as they traveled to Westfield for a battle of the WSU. The Lancers are on a short week after a Monday loss to West Conn, as they look to get a much needed MASCAC win.

Worcester, MA- The Lancers football team returned to action after a nine day hiatus, as they traveled to battle the Plymouth State Panthers in a MASCAC showdown . The Lancers are coming off a heartbreaking loss to Mass Maritime as they fell 22-19. The Lancers look to bounce back and get back in the win column as they battle the Panthers.
Worcester, MA- The Lancers football team hit the road for a rare Thursday night matchup, as they traveled to Buzzards Bay in a MASCAC conference affair with Mass Maritime. The Lancers are coming off a loss last friday night to Bridgewater State by a score of 35-7. The Lancers look to get back in the win column, and get to .500 in MASCAC play.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Lancers (1-3, 1-1 MASCAC) faced off against the Bridgewater State Bears (3-2, 3-0 MASCAC) in a crucial conference matchup Friday night at John F. Coughlin Memorial Field.
Worcester, MA- The Lancers football team hit the road for a MASCAC conference affair with UMass-Dartmouth. The Lancers are coming off their first win of the season when they beat Fitchburg 33-13 last Saturday. The Lancers look to even the record at .500, and improve to 2-0 in conference play when they battle the Corsairs in Dartmouth.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Football team had two named to the MASCAC Weekly honors after a 33-13 victory over Fitchburg State on Saturday afternoon. Graduate student Justin Ryan (Fitchburg, MA) and first year Lance Williams (Westerly, RI) received the weekly honors. Justin was named as the MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week, while Lance was honored as the Rookie of the Week.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Lancers (0-2, 0-0) took on the Fitchburg State Falcons (0-2, 0-0) at John. F. Coughlin Memorial Field for a 12 p.m. start in the first MASCAC showdown of the season.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Lancers (0-1)(0-0) kicked off their home opener this afternoon against the Union Garnet Chargers (1-0)(0-1). Union is fresh from a 66-0 victory in their last contest while Worcester was handed a 44-13 loss at WPI last Friday.
WORCESTER, MA – The Worcester State Lancers travelled across town to rivals hometown Rivals WPI in a Friday Night Lights showdown to jump start their season. While the story did not go exactly as Worcester State would have preferred, dropping the game 44-13 at H. Carr Field at Alumni Stadium, the first game of the new season showed promise for both young and old alike on the team as each settles into new positions and roles.
WORCESTER, Mass. -- The 2022-2023 season didn’t go exactly as planned for the Worcester State Lancers and third-year head coach Adam Peloquin, but this year they are looking to make a big presence in the MASCAC. The team finished with a 1-9 overall record with a 1-7 MASCAC record last season, but with an opening night matchup with WPI, the Lancers are set to write a different story this year.

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Football team has been tapped to finish 8th in the MASCAC Preseason Coaches poll as voted on by the coaches. The Lancers are looking to add to their win total from last year behind a solid group of returners and first year talent with the program. Mike Loveless was a dual threat QB for the Lancers in 2022 with five touchdowns on the ground and two in the air along with 551 yards of total offense.
