19 Named to LEC Fall Academic Honor Roll

Worcester, MA – The Little East Conference (LEC) announced a total of 2,028 student-athletes competing in the conference’s 21 championship sports were named to the LEC Academic Honor Roll in recognition of their academic performance in the Fall 2022 semester. To be named the LEC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a semester GPA of 3.00 or better and have been an active member of the team at the conclusion of the season.

Coughlin Memorial Field at Worcester State University was the setting for an early-evening playoff contest, as the second-seeded Lancers played host to the third-seeded Spartans of Castleton University in the second-round of the Little East Conference Tournament. Worcester State was able to come away with the road win during the regular-season matchup between the Spartans and Lancers back on Oct.11. History did not repeat itself as the Spartans were able to get revenge on their regular season loss by demonstrating incredible focus in their 3-0 victory.
