Worcester, MA – The Little East Conference (LEC) announced a total of 2,028 student-athletes competing in the conference’s 21 championship sports were named to the LEC Academic Honor Roll in recognition of their academic performance in the Fall 2022 semester. To be named the LEC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a semester GPA of 3.00 or better and have been an active member of the team at the conclusion of the season.
Worcester, MA- For the second time in three nights, John F. Coughlin Memorial Field at Worcester State University was the setting for an early-evening playoff contest, as the second-seeded Lancers played host to the third-seeded Spartans of Castleton University in the second-round of the Little East Conference Tournament. Worcester State was able to come away with the road win during the regular-season matchup between the Spartans and Lancers back on Oct.11. History did not repeat itself as the Spartans were able to get revenge on their regular season loss by demonstrating incredible focus in their 3-0 victory.
Worcester, MA- John F. Coughlin Memorial Field at Worcester State University was the setting for an early-evening playoff contest, as the second-seeded Lancers played host to the seventh-seeded Owls of Westfield State University in the opening-round of Little East Conference Tournament. Worcester State was able to come away with the win during the regular-season matchup between the Owls and Lancers back on Sept. 27, who would once again come out on top in a real nail biter of a game, defeating Westfield State in comeback fashion by a score of 3-2.

Worcester, MA - The Blue & Gold hosted the Endicott Gulls on a rainy non-conference matchup at Coughlin Field Wednesday night. Despite a late shot in the net by Senior midfielder Molly Cutting (Auburn, MA), assisted by Senior forward Karalyn Jones (Wilbraham, MA), Worcester State was unable to make the comeback and fell 4-1.

The Lancers came out ready to wrap this game up with a quick start to the game as the team opted to forgo the traditional pregame routines to squeeze the game in.

The Lancers looked to keep their winning alive on the road tonight and bring home another “W” on the season. Last season's match up with Springfield was a one goal game, with Worcester State edging it out at home with a game winner from Emily Floury. This year, Springfield managed to take home the one goal advantage for the win in a thrilling overtime matchup between the two teams.
