The 2025 Academic All-District® Women’s At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Westfield, MA — A total of 1,610 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall/Winter 2024 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – 60 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) student-athletes have been recognized for their outstanding sportsmanship as members of the 2024 Fall Sportsmanship Team.
Worcester, MA- Worcester State Field Hockey had three named to the MASCAC All-Conference team as senior Natayla Morin (Barre, Ma) and junior Allison Keenan (Marlborough, MA) were named to the First Team while senior Madison Ferrara (Somerset, MA) was selected for second team honors.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Field Hockey team (8-10, 6-4) returns to the MASCAC Championship tonight with Westfield State (11-8, 7-3) hosting the #2 versus #3 seed MASCAC Semifinal matchup. Westfield fell in the MASCAC semifinals last year in OT, the Lancers are hoping to deal them the same fate this year in their bid to return to the championship.
Worcester, MA- With the conclusion of the regular season , the MASCAC Playoffs began on Tuesday night. The third seed Worcester State Lancers (7-10, 6-4) welcomes four the fourth time in two years the Salem State Vikings (2-14, 0-10) to Coughlin Field. Earlier in the season Worcester would claim two wins off the Vikings, the first a 6-0 victory in mid-October before wrapping up the season in Salem just three days ago with a 4-1 win in Worcester’s favor. This is the second season in a row the Vikings have met the Lancers in the playoffs after Salem upset Fitchburg State 4-3 last season in the MASCAC Quarterfinals to meet Worcester in the Semifinals.
Worcester, MA- After a 1-1 week for the Worcester State Field Hockey team, first year Rihanna Morin (Burrilville, RI) was tabbed as this weeks MASCAC Rookie of the Week.
Worcester, MA- In a rematch from earlier this season that saw Worcester State come away with a big 6-0 victory, the Lancer Field Hockey team (6-10, 5-4) looks to get a leg up in the postseason with a win today that will help the team solidify their third seed placement in the postseason. With a win today, the Lancers could very well see Salem State for the 6th time in two years as they faced the Vikings in the MASCAC semifinals last year as well.
Worcester, MA- In the final home game of the Worcester State Field Hockey (6-9, 5-3) regular season, the Lancers will host a repeat of the MASCAC Championship on Coughlin field as they battle for a top spot in the MASCAC POst season tournament. After coming away earlier this season with a 2-0 victory on the road, Worcester is set to repeat and grab a crucial win on the season.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Field Hockey team (5-9, 4-3) takes on top seeded Fitchburg State today in a bid to gain more ground in the conference seeding, where they currently sit in third. Today’s game is also played in honor of the senior class that includes team leading forward #3 Natalya Morin (Barre, MA), dominant midfielder #10 Madison Avilla (Westport, MA) and star keeper #90 Madison Ferrara (Somerset, MA).
Worcester, MA- After a thrilling 1-0 victory at home last Tuesday that pushed the Lancers up the conference seeding chart, the Worcester State Field Hockey team (5-8 4-2) continue their replay conference matches, as this time they travel to Bridgewater State to take on the Bears. In the last meeting with the Bears back in September, it took overtime action for Worcester to claim the 3-2 victory, but with a bit more season in their step since then, they are aiming for another statement victory.
Worcester, MA- After a thrilling 6-0 victory over Salem State in the Worcester State Field Hockey’s 1-1-week, senior Natalya Morin (Barre, MA) has claimed a share of this week’s MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Worcester, MA- After an exciting game on Saturday that saw the Worcester State Field Hockey team (4-8, 3-2) come home with the 6-0 victory over Salem State, the Lancers are back in conference action tonight as they begin their second conference matchups of the season. The Blue and Gold will welcome Westfield State to Coughlin field, earlier this season Worcester dropped a hotly contested battle to the Owls 3-2 in overtime and will aim to come out on top tonight during their Lancer and Rosen Cancer Awareness Pink Out.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Field Hockey team (3-8, 2-2) is back in action as they start their end of season campaign for a top spot in the conference. Aiming to push them over the .500 mark in conference action today is an afternoon meeting with the Salem State Vikings, who the Lancers defeated in MASCAC semifinals last year on their way to the Championship.
Worcester, MA- After an exciting 2-1 week for the Lancer Field Hockey team (3-7, 2-2) the squad looks to continue their winning ways, this time against top regional contender Endicott College. Endicott, similar to the Lancers last year made it to the NCAA first round tournament before bowing out in the early rounds and this matchup is primed to be a good test of regional and postseason endurance for Worcester.
Worcester, MA- After a stunning 1-0 victory on Thursday over Southern Maine for their second win of the season, the Worcester State Field Hockey team (2-7, 1-2) looks to even their conference record at .500. They head to Framingham State in the first of the rematch battles of last year's conference championships that saw Worcester claim the 2-0 victory.
