Abby was born in Massachusetts...is majoring in nursing with a concetration in pediatric nursing with a minor in human development at Worcester State...the daughter of Kerry and JP Matta... has one sibling, Maeve...choose worcester state because of the nursing program, as well as great field hockey team

Worcester, MA- Worcester State Field Hockey wrapped up their regular season in a senior night meeting with Bridgewater State. Worcester needed a win and Fitchburg loss tonight to claim the third seed in the MASCAC postseason tournament with a loss finding themselves as the fourth seed. Tonight’s game was also played in honor of the 2025 senior class of Charlotte MacGregor (Bellingham, MA), Allison Keen (Marlborough, MA), Maggie Nailor (Dartmouth, MA) and Kae Coleman (Attleboro, MA).
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Field Hockey (6-10, 6-4) wrap up their final regular season road game tonight as they journey to Anna Maria in a conference rematch. The Lancers previously beat the AMCATs at home 5-0 earlier in the season and are aiming to double up on their win tonight.
