Final
Worcester State: 49
Trinity: 100
How it Happened:
It was a slow but steady start for the Bantams and Lancers, with Trinity initially grabbing a decent lead on a 7-0 run to start the game but at just 16:37 remaining Worcester would put on their push as senior Johnny Annan (Worcester, MA) would start the action. Over the next three minutes Worcester would cut the lead to just three points and begin a close chase. Trinity would make some small runs in the first half but the Lancers were working to match them point for point. A late streak in the final minutes would push the Bantams lead into the double digits, and while Worcester worked to cut in, they were unable to bring it to single digits as they moved into halftime at 43-22.
Worcester would fight in the second half but the Bantams found their stroll and stretched the lead, capitalizing on Worcester's cold shooting of 33.9% in field goal shooting. Worcester would add some additional points in the second half, but not enough to overcome the 56-27 score differential as the Lancers fell 100-49.
Sophomore Joe Okla (Worcester, MA) and Annan would both lead the Lancers with seven points on the night with junior Ethan Daleba (Dorchester, MA) leading with seven rebounds.
What's Next:
The Blue and Gold (2-9, 0-0) have just 24 hours off before they are back in action when they face off with the MCLA Trailblazers at 7:30pm.
