Okla Named MASCAC Rookie of Week for Opening Weekend Action

Worcester, MA- With a 1-1 week after squaring up with #25 Saint Joseph and Brooklyn College and the Lafrance Hospitality Tournament hosted by UMass-Dartmouth, sophomore Joe Okla (Worcester, MA) was named the MASCAC Rookie of the Week.

Okla averaged 13.5 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 69.2 percent (9-13) from the field in a 1-1 week for the Lancers. Finished with 11 points and three rebounds in the 87-52 win over Brooklyn.

Men’s basketball is back in action tomorrow at 1pm when they take on Rhode Island College.
