Lancers Tied for 6th At Babson Invitational After Day One
Plymouth, MA --- Senior Nick Lombardi tied for first place firing a 74 (+2) with Nick Antonelli of Salem State after the first of two rounds of play at the Babson Invitational hosted by Atlantic Country Club in Plymouth (Par 72). As a team the Lancers are currently tied for sixth with Rhode Island College with a cumulative team score of 328, just 13 strokes off the lead of local rival Nichols.

Sophomore Bob Bruso (Auburn, MA) started off his spring strong as he tied for sixth with a 77 (+5) while Tim Howard tied for 48th with an 88 (+16). Junior Dave Urella (Worcester, MA) and classmate Mike Leveroni (Arlington, MA) rounded out the field with finishes of 51st (89; +17) and 69th (103; +31) places.
The golf team looks to move up in the standings and take the crown in their first invitational tournament of the season. Check out the website tomorrow for more details.
