Men's Golf Ties For Sixth In Opening Round of UMD Hampton Invitational
N. Dartmouth, MA --- Senior Jackson Davis tied for 11th, firing a 79 in the first round of the UMass Dartmouth Hampton Inn Invitational held at the par 72 Allendale Country Club. Davis is eight strokes behind freshman Josh Unkrick of Roger Williams while WSU is 13 shots off of RIC.

N. Dartmouth, MA --- Senior Jackson Davis (Spencer, MA) tied for 11th, firing a 79 in the first round of the UMass Dartmouth Hampton Inn Invitational held at the par 72 Allendale Country Club.
The Lancers shot 327 overall as a squad (+39) which is just 13 shots off leader Rhode Island College. Davis himself is eight strokes behind freshman Josh Unkrick (Bristol, CT) of Roger Williams.
Other finishers for the Blue and Gold included freshman Quinn Indio (Acushnet, MA) who tied for 25th (81, +9), sophomore Patrick Sharron (Boylston, MA) equaled 65th (85, +13) and senior David Rixham (Northbridge, MA) tied for 64th with an 89 (+17).
