Sharon Helps Men's Golf Tie For Seventh At Elms Fall Blazer Invitational

Granby, MA --- Sophomore Patrick Sharron (Boylston, MA) carded a 76 (+6) to help lead the Worcester State to tie for seventh place at the Elms Fall Blazer Invitational this afternoon at the par 70 Westover Country Club.

The Lancers shot 328 as a squad just 19 strokes off of Rhode Island College who took home the team trophy. Nine strokes seperated the third through seventh place in a competitive field as the Blue and Gold tied with Babson's "White" team.

Sharron himself tied for sixth individually with junior Jack Ralbovsky (Bennington, VT) of Castleton State.

Junior Jackson Davis (Spencer, MA) connected for an 80 (+10) to equal 14th place while senior David Rixham (Northbridge, MA), classmate Bryan Dunham (Tolland, CT) and freshman Quinn Indio (Acushnet, MA) all fired an 86 (+16) to round out the scoring for WSU sharing 45th overall.

Next week the Lancers continue their season at the Westfield State Invitational held at Tekoa Country Club.
