Lancers Claim Second at Rich Korzec Memorial Meet behind Fine Touch of Gastonguay

Worcester, MA- Wrapping up the season the Worcester State Men's Golf team would host their annual Rich Korzec Tournament at Tatnuck Country Club in Worcester. The Lancers would have two squads compete on the day with junior Jonny Gastonguay (Asburnham, MA) taking the win with a +2 for a score of 72 on the course. Worcester would take second place on the day finishing with a 305, +25,  just behind Western New England who won the meet with a score of +8 and a 288.

 Finishing behind Gastonguay for Worcester Blue was sophomore Zach Hurley (Feeding Hills, MA) with a +6 for a score of 76, senior John Ryan (Wakefield, MA) with a +8 for a 78, junior Cam Verna (Natick, MA) at +9 for a 79 and sophomore John Wasserman (Salem, MA) with a +12 for 82.

For the Worcester Grey squad senior Wyatt Friedlander (Lake Placid, NY) would lead the squad with a +7 for a total of 77. Colin Lyons and Nolan Finan would tie at +21 for a 91 with sophomore Dominic Ritacco (West Boylston, MA) recording a +24 for 94 and senior Cam McLaughlin (Wakefield, MA) with a +50 for a score of 120.
