Sutton, MA --- Nichols edged the Worcester State men's golf team by one stroke for the Worcester City Championship trophy this afternoon at the par 72 Blackstone National Golf Course.
Salem, MA --- Third-seeded Salem State defeated #6 Worcester State, 5-0, in the opening round of the MASCAC Men's Ice Hockey Tournament this afternoon. Freshman Salvatore Tecci finished with 27 saves in the setback for the Lancers.
Auburn, MA --- Sophomore Andrew Pierson netted his first two goals of the campaign but it was not enough as Salem State was able to hold on to beat Worcester State 4-3 in MASCAC men's ice hockey action this evening at Horgan Memorial Rink.
Auburn, MA --- Freshman Salvatore Tecci registered 40 saves for Worcester State as the Lancers and Framingham State played to a 3-3 tie in overtime this evening at Horgan Memorial Rink. Freshman Mike Leskun highlighted three different players netted goals for the Lancers in the draw.
Plymouth, NH --- Worcester State erased a two goal deficit to force overtime but fell short of completing the comeback as they were defeated 3-2 by Plymouth State in MASCAC mens ice hockey action this evening at Hanaway Rink.

Auburn, MA --- Sophomore RJ Byrne recorded his first goal of the campaign but the Lancers were unable to hang on and were edged by Assumption, 2-1, in non-conference men's ice hockey action this evening at Horgan Memorial Rink.
Auburn, MA --- Fitchburg State handed Worcester State a 4-0 setback in MASCAC men's ice hockey action this evening at Horgan Memorial Rink. The Lancers had a frustrating evening as they led in shots, 39-33, but could not find the back of the net.
Auburn, MA --- Sophomore Nathan Stanley finished with his team-leading seventh goal of the season for the Lancers and sophomore Cody Osburn chipped in with his ninth dish of the year on the lone marker to move into a tie for sixth in the conference in overall defensemen scoring. However, Worcester State fell to Westfield State, 5-1, in MASCAC men's ice hockey action this evening.
N. Dartmouth, MA --- Freshman Salvatore Tecci stopped 27 of the 28 shots he saw on net as he helped Worcester State draw to a 1-1 overtime tie against UMass Dartmouth in MASCAC men's ice hockey action this evening.
Salem, MA --- Worcester State was defeated by Salem State 3-2 in MASCAC men's ice hockey action this afternoon. Sophomore Vinny Bohn and freshman Mike Leskun both connected for goals in the setback for the Lancers.
Buzzards Bay, MA --- Freshman Cody Brier and junior Taylor Fant have been named MASCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Player and Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively, for their efforts in a 2-0-1 week for Worcester State.
Auburn, MA --- Freshman Cody Brier netted a pair of goals including the eventual game winning marker to help lift Worcester State past first place Plymouth State, 4-3, in MASCAC men’s ice hockey action this evening at Horgan Arena.
Auburn, MA --- Junior Derek Serbon finished with a goal and an assist while freshman Salvatore Tecci stopped 33 of the 36 shots he saw this evening, but Worcester State and Framingham State played to a 3-3 tie this evening in MASCAC men's ice hockey action.
Fitchburg, MA --- Junior Jordan Roberts registered four points on two goals and two helpers as Worcester State defeated Fitchburg State, 6-2 in MASCAC men's ice hockey action this evening at the Wallace Civic Center.
Westfield, MA --- Westfield State netted four goals in the final frame for the 4-3 triumph this evening over Worcester State. Sophomore Nathan Stanley potted two markers for the visitors in the setback.
