Westfield, MA --- Senior Cody Osburn was one of five Worcester State student-athletes distinguished on the MASCAC Winter Sportsmanship team as announced by league publicist Emily Diekelmann.
Westfield, MA --- Freshman Sean Haltam has been selected MASCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week for his efforts in pacing Worcester State to a 2-1 record last week. Haltam registered two markers including the game-winning tally in a key MASCAC victory over Framingham State.

Worcester, MA --- Junior Joe White deposited the eventual game-winning tally with 6:06 remaining in the second stanza to help pace Worcester State to a 4-3 triumph over Salem State in MASCAC men’s ice hockey action this evening at the Hart Recreation Center.
Worcester, MA --- The Worcester State University ice hockey team will hold a “Pink The Rink” event on Tuesday, at 8 PM against Salem State at the Hart Recreation Center. The Lancers will use the opportunity to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.
Westfield, MA --- For the second time this season, senior Nathan Stanley has been named MASCAC Ice Hockey Player of the Week for his standout efforts in a 3-0 week for Worcester State. Stanley collected eight points for four goals and four helpers for WSU with a trio of multi-point contests.

Worcester, MA --- Fitchburg State defeated Worcester State, 3-2, in MASCAC men's ice hockey action this evening. Freshman Alex Pommerville and senior RJ Byrne potted the second-period tallies for the Lancers in the setback.
Due to inclement weather conditions expected to hit Central Massachusetts over the weekend, this Sunday's MASCAC ice hockey contest between Worcester State and Framingham State on February 15 has been moved to Thursday, February 26.
