Final- OT

How it Happened:
It would be a defensive battle through the first period with Worcester and Framingham trading shots and saves. Worcester would hold the shot advantage in the period claiming double the attempts to the Rams with 14, but Framingham would manage to grab the last minute goal to claim a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.
In the second the Rams would grab a second goal early in the second period as they would put one in the back of the net at nearly the four minute mark. It would take just a few minutes for Worcester to respond as junior Brady Carpenter (Peabody, MA) would put in the first goal for the Lancers with assists by first year Sean Tyrie (East Quogue, NY) and junior Matt Lombardi (Hudson, MA)). It would be quickly followed up with the tying goal a minute later as junior Matthew Nuzzolilo (Worcester, MA) found the pocket for number two. With just over nine minutes in action Lombardi would grab the lead off an assist from Cam Quigley and Carpenter. Nearly three quarters through the second Framingham would again reclaim a tie with goal number three to hold at the 3-3 score into the third period.
The third period would again see each team unable to find the back of the net and send Worcester to another OT meeting in their last two games. The Rams would find the success in the finals seconds as they claimed the 4-3 victory over Worcester.
