Brian Andrade Named MASCAC Player of the Week
Worcester, MA --- Senior forward Brian Andrade has been named the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men’s Soccer Player of the Week after he helped Worcester State go 2-1-1 with six goals and 12 points.
Worcester, MA --- Senior forward Brian Andrade (Hudson, MA) has been named the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Player of the Week after he helped Worcester State go 2-1-1 with six goals and 12 points.
Andrade earned most valuable player honors of the Worcester City Tournament last week after he registered a hat-trick in a 5-1 win over WPI and the lone goal in a 1-1 tie with Clark. This past weekend he sparked a comeback against Union when he knotted the score to help pace the Lancers to a 2-1 win over the Dutchmen.
The Worcester State men's soccer team will host two home matches in the next week. On Wednesday they will entertain St Joseph's of Maine at 7 PM and then Southern Maine at 2 o'clock on Saturday.
