How It Happened
The opening half was defined by strong defensive play and high energy from both sides, as quality scoring chances were limited. With just over 10 minutes left in the first half, a foul in the box sent Keene State to the penalty spot, where the Owls converted to take a 1–0 lead. Worcester pressed for an equalizer before the break, but the Owls carried the advantage into halftime.
The second half mirrored the first, with both teams trading possession but struggling to create clear looks on goal. Keene State doubled its lead late in regulation, leaving the Lancers to chase the game in the final minutes. Despite pushing forward, Worcester was unable to break through, as the Owls secured the 2–0 win.
Junior Tobias Schneider (Hudson, WI) finished with seven saves in net for the Lancers.
