Men's Soccer 2026 Schedule Release
Worcester, MA – The Worcester State Athletic Department and first-year Head Coach Gerard Miniaci are excited to announce their 2026 schedule. Worcester State comes off a 5-11-1 season that saw the team go 5-11 in conference play. The Blue and Gold are angling for a return to the MASCAC Championship game under new leadership and with the support of seniors Tobias Schneider, Dylan Verby and Nick Guidi. A full cast of returners and incoming talent aim to push the Lancers to the top of the conference pecking order.

“We are excited to take on our next journey as a program. The boys have been working extremely hard this offseason and we are all eager to get back onto the pitch in front of our supporters” states Miniaci. “Our 2026 schedule gives us a great opportunity to compete against quality opponents in the area, all while preparing us for conference play and the MASCAC championship."
The Worcester State season will kick off on Tuesday, September 1st at home on Coughlin Field as the Lancers host Johnson & Wales. Just four days later, the conference season begins as Worcester travels to Fitchburg State. The Blue and Gold will remain on the road September 9th with a trip to Rhode Island to face off against Salve Regina. A return to Chandler Street is scheduled for September 12th for the conference home opener versus Framingham State before UMaine Fort Kent comes to town on the 15th. Two further conference/non-conference matchups will be held on Coughlin Field, with Mass. Maritime visiting on the 18th and Plymouth State making the trip down on the 22nd. A three-game road stretch will close out September as the Lancers head to Wentworth on the 24th, MCLA on the 26th and Springfield on the 29th.
October action starts on the 3rd with a home game against Bridgewater State, followed by Westfield on the 10th and Thomas College on the 13th. Worcester then heads to Salem State on the 17th and Keene State on the 20th. The regular season wraps up on October 24th with a Senior Day matchup against UMass Dartmouth.
