New York, NY --- The 4x400 meter relay team placed sixth with a time of 3:23.07 to help lead the men's indoor track and field team to 56th place at the ECAC Division III Championships this afternoon at the NYC Armory.
Boston, MA --- Junior Tim Mazeika helped the men's indoor track and field team break a pair of school records and classmate Jon Parrella reset his 500 meter record as they helped lead the squad this weekend at the Open New England Championships at Boston University.
Springfield, MA --- Paced by sophomore Andrew Johnson's second place leap in the high jump, Worcester State tied for 15th at the Division III New England Indoor Championships hosted by Springfield.
Springfield, MA --- With a total score of 2352 points in the heptathlon, sophomore Jason Sliwoski is in fifth place out of ten competators at the first day of the Division III New England Championships.
Gorham, ME --- Junior Todd Paquin placed first in the long jump, 55 meters, and 200 to help Worcester State finish in second overall in the MASCAC Indoor Championships and fourth place in the New England Alliance this evening at Southern Maine.
Medford, MA --- Freshman Terrence Gibson had a stellar day in his first collegiate meet as he helped pace the men's indoor track and field team to fifth place at the Tufts Stampede Invitational.
Cambridge, MA --- Freshman Stephen Gannon highlighted six first-place finishes to help lead the Lancers at the non-scoring MIT Co-Ed Invitational. Junior Tim Mazeika also took home the top spot with a school-record time in the 1,000 meters
Buzzards Bay, MA --- First-year sprinter Stephen Gannon has been selected as this week’s MASCAC Male Track Athlete of the Week for his performance this past weekend at the University of New Hampshire Invitational.
Durham, NH --- Freshman Stephen Gannon and junior Jon Parrella each captured the top spot in their respective events to help lead Worcester State men’s indoor track & field team to fourth place at the four-team UNH Invitational.
Medford, MA --- Junior Nate Starling and freshman Duy Truong placed first in their respective events to help lead the Worcester State men's indoor track and field team to third place at the Tufts Invitational on Saturday afternoon. For his efforts, Starling has been named MASCAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Sorrs, CT --- Sophomore Jason Sliwoski settled for eighth place on the second day of the UConn Heptathlon this morning as he finished with 4088 total points.
Cambridge, MA --- Junior Tim Mazeika and classmate Jon Parella posted strong times in their respective events to help lead the Worcester State men's indoor track and field team at the Harvard Open. For his DIII qualifying time in the 800 meters, Mazeika has been named MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week.
Providence, RI --- Junior Nate Starling was third overall in the 55 meter dash with an Open New England qualifying time of 7.96 while classmate Tim Mazeika shattered the previous school mark in the 1,000 to help lead Worcester State at the Alden Invitational hosted by Brown.
