MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Worcester State University’s sophomore Justin Lewis (Lynn, Mass.) was named the Division III New England high jump champion on Saturday as he earned the top spot with a height of 2.07m/6-09.50, leading the team to an 11th place finish of 28+ schools in attendance at the Division III New England Championship. Both Marcus Vieira (Peabody, Mass.) and John Ojukwu (Stow, Mass.) also earned All-New England honors.
The Worcester State Men’s Track and Field team posted a 3rd place finish at the 2018 MASCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships held by host Rhode Island College. The men finished in 5th in the Alliance scoring of the event.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Worcester State University’s Markiesh Harmon (Leominster, Mass.) earned a 1st place finish in the high jump (1.89m) while both he and teammate Edward Boamah (Worcester, Mass.) qualified for Division III New England’s in the long jump with a leap of 6.41m Saturday afternoon at Springfield College’s Maroon & White Classic.

Justin Lewis (Lynn, Mass.) won the high jump and the Lancers saw second place markings from Scott Page (Winchendon, Mass.), Marcus Vieira (Peabody, Mass.), and Marques Johnson (West Hartford, Conn.).
