Ojukwu Credited with MASCAC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week Award

WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State's freshman John Ojukwu (Stow, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) men's indoor track & field rookie of the week, as announced by the league Monday (Feb. 19) afternoon.

This past weekend at the Division III New England Championships, Ojukwu finished fifth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.98 seconds, which was good for All-New England honors.

The men's indoor track & field team will resume competition this Sunday (Feb. 25) when they travel to the Boston University last chance meet.
