Maciel Selected MASCAC Track Athlete of the Week
Buzzards Bay, MA --- Freshman sprinter Kevin Maciel has been named this week’s MASCAC Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for helping lead the Lancers to first place finish at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic this past weekend.

Buzzards Bay, MA --- Freshman sprinter Kevin Maciel (Tewksbury, MA) has been named this week's MASCAC Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week for helping lead the Lancers to first place finish at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic this past weekend.
Maciel took home top honors in the 400 meter hurdles to qualify for the ECAC Championships (56.44) while he also helped anchor the winning 4x400 meter relay (3:25.86).
Maciel was apart of the indoor season's record-breaking 4x400 relay team that earned All-Division III New England honors with an sixth-place finish. The relay team eclipsed the previous mark three times in a four-week stretch in March.
The Lancers will compete again this weekend at MIT in Cambridge.
