WESTFIELD, Mass. – 34 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) student-athletes have been recognized for their outstanding sportsmanship as members of the 2018 Spring Sportsmanship Teams.

SALEM, Mass. – Worcester State swept Salem State 8-3 and 15-3 (5 innings) in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) doubleheader Sunday afternoon. Dakota Smith-Porter (Montague, Mass.) pitched a complete game, scattering four hits while allowing just two runs in a game one victory. Kaiulani Ennis (Swansea, Mass.) went 3-for-4 in game two, including a grand slam and five RBI as the Lancers ran away with a 15-3, five-inning victory.
WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester State University softball team picked up their second Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) sweep on Saturday, as they shutout the visiting MCLA Trailblazers 6-0 in the opening game, and scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning in game two to win 8-4 and complete the sweep.
