Maloney Named MASCAC Pitcher of the Week

Worcester, MA- After a 5-0 week for the Lancers, junior Peyton Maloney (West Boylston, MA) was named the MASCAC Pitcher of the Week. 

Maloney Went 2-0 with nine hits, 15 strikeouts, 0.50 ERA over 14 innings pitched. Went the distance, allowing five hits with an earned run and four strikeouts in the 6-1 win over Bridgewater State. Threw another complete game, giving up four hits with 11 strikeouts in the 3-0 win over Anna Maria.

Worcester State Softball is back on the diamond on Wednesday with a trip to Amherst to take on the Mammoths at 3pm.
