Kelly Named Player of the Week in Final Regular Season ECHA Honors
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey team had one named to the ECHA Player of the Week for the final week of the regular season after their games versus Rivier this past week. Graduate student Kylian Kelly (Shrewsbury, MA) was integral in helping the Lancers to a 1-0-1 weekend in action packed game play.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey team had one named to the ECHA Player of the Week for the final week of the regular season after their games versus Rivier this past week. Graduate student Kylian Kelly (Shrewsbury, MA) was integral in helping the Lancers to a 1-0-1 weekend in action packed game play.
The graduate defender recorded a three assist for three points in the regular season conclusion. The defender assisted on Cassidhe Wozniak’s game-winning goal on Friday evening and added a helper on Clare Conway’s game tying goal the following evening. Kelly has now recorded 33 assists in her career as a Lancer.
The Lancers are back in action on Friday afternoon when they host the ECHA semifinals as the #1 seed in the tournament. The Lancers will square up with Assumption University at 3:45pm at the Fidelity Bank Ice Arena.
