Czerniawski and Johns Repeat as MASCAC Players of the Week
Worcester, MA- For the second week in a row the Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey team has had two placed on the MASCAC Weekly Honor Roll. Repeating from their success last week is junior Kelsey Czerniawski (Chicopee, MA) and first year Emily Johns (Clinton, MA). The two were named Goalie and Rookie of the Week last week and repeated after the Lancers winning ways of the past week.

Repeating from their success last week is junior Kelsey Czerniawski (Chicopee, MA) and first year Emily Johns (Clinton, MA). The two were named Goalie and Rookie of the Week last week and repeated after the Lancers winning ways of the past week.
Czerniawski recorded 38 saves without allowing a goal in the Lancers’ 1-0 win over Rivier for her first complete shutout of the season. Czerniawski now has 164 saves in the season wither her 3-1 record. Her GAA currently sits at 2.08 with one shutout and a .948 save percentage.
Johns finished with two assists in the Lancers’ 3-0 win over MCLA. Johns’ season record now sits as four goals with two assists for six points, where she also upped her +/- to a +8 with her performance on the week.
Worcester State is back in action after the break when they welcome the University of New England to Fidelity Bank Ice Center on December 6th at 7:20pm.
