Fisher Named MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week

Worcester, MA- With one game into the 2025 season, the Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team has a win and their first MASCAC Weekly honor. Kicking off the MASCAC honors for the season is junior Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA) grabbed the Defensive Player of the Week accolade.

Worcester, MA- With one game into the 2025 season, the Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team has a win and their first MASCAC Weekly honor. Kicking off the MASCAC honors for the season is junior Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA) grabbed the Defensive Player of the Week accolade.

Fisher finished with eight draw controls, three caused turnovers and three ground balls in the Lancers’ 18-5 win over Wellesley. She added two goals and an assist in the win.

Worcester State is back in action on Wednesday when they head to Simmons for a 4pm faceoff.
