Fisher Named MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week
Worcester, MA- After a 1-1 week for the Lancers, senior Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA) was tabbed as the MASCAC Defensive Player of the week in the second week of the Worcester State Women's Lacrosse season.
Worcester, MA- After a 1-1 week for the Lancers, senior Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA) was tabbed as the MASCAC Defensive Player of the week in the second week of the Worcester State Women's Lacrosse season.
Fisher recorded eight ground balls, nine draw controls and three caused turnovers with a 100% SOG percentage in her full field attack in the 1-1 week for the Lancers. Finished with five goals and three assists for eight points. Had five groundballs, two caused turnovers and six draws in the 17-5 win over UMass Dartmouth. Fisher has recorded seven goals, five assists for 12 points so far on the season. Has eight ground balls, 215 draw controls and 3 caused turnovers.
Worcester State is back in action tomorrow, March 10th, versus Johnson & Wales at 5pm.
