Forbes Named Offensive Player of the Week for Second Time

Worcester, MA- After clinching the MASCAC Regular Season Championship title on Saturday afternoon, the Worcester State Women's Soccer had one named to the MASCAC weekly honors. Junior Jessica Forbes (Clinton, MA) was named this week's conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Forbes recorded a goal and an assist for three points in the 2-0 win over Anna Maria while captaining the backfield on defense which allowed just a single shot on cage to help lead the Lancers to clinching as the MASCAC Regular Season Champions and the first seed in the postseason tournament.

The Lancers now await the MASCAC First Round games to find out their opponent for their MASCAC Semifinal match at 6pm on Friday.
