Cumberbatch Leads Women's Soccer MASCAC All-Conference Selections
Westfield, Mass. — Olivia Robarge of Bridgewater State and Julia Robak of Westfield State have earned the 2025 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year honors and headline the 2025 MASCAC First Team All-Conference squad which is voted on by the coaches from around the conference prior to the tournament.
Westfield, Mass. — Olivia Robarge of Bridgewater State and Julia Robak of Westfield State have earned the 2025 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year honors and headline the 2025 MASCAC First Team All-Conference squad which is voted on by the coaches from around the conference prior to the tournament.
Robarge, a senior from Pepperell, Mass., closed out the season with the most goals in the MASCAC with eight while assisting on two others for 18 points. Last season's Tournament MVP also netted two game-winners on the year while helping the Bears to the third seed in the conference tournament. Her best game of the year came in the win over Anna Maria where Robarge found the back of the net twice.
Robak, a senior from Chicopee, Mass., was a shot stopper in goal for the Owls, after leading the conference in save percentage at .861, goals against at 10 and goals against average at 0.67. She made 62 and over her nine wins, she didn't allow a single goal in those games for a perfect 1.000 save percentage.
Joining Robarge and Robak as a major award winner is Liv DeMember from Westfield State. The first year from W. Bolyston, Mass., was the leading goal scorer for the Owls with four goals and five assists for 13 points. She earned MASCAC Rookie of the Week honors four times this season, including most recently for her assist in the MASCAC Tournament title game.
After guiding Worcester State to a 7-1 record and the top seed in the MASCAC Tournament, Kevin Cumberbatch was voted the 2025 BSN Sports Coach of the Year by his peers.
Sitting on the MASCAC First Team with Robarge and Robak are Nina DiRusso and Hope Montgomery of Bridgewater State, Olivia Henke of Salem State, Morgan Berthiaume and Katie Slattery of Westfield State and Amanda Cosco, Jessica Forbes, Ava Lemanski and Ella Tatarczuk of Worcester State.
Earning a spot on the 2025 MASCAC Second Team with DeMember are Logan Levesque, Caroline McCormack and Jenna Sweeney of Bridgewater State, Zoe Chrisostomides and Adrianna Westcott of Fitchburg State, Sarah Bashore and Ana Serrano of Framingham State, Kiana Muratsuka and Kylie Tomasetti of Westfield State and Julianne Earnest of Worcester State.
