Danso Breaks Personal Record in 60 Meter Hurdles at Boston University

BOSTON, Mass. – Worcester State University's senior Abigail Danso (Worcester, Mass.) broke her personal record in the 60 meter hurdles on Sunday at the Boston University Last Chance Meet, with a time of 9.00 in the preliminaries.

• Asgerdur Jana Agustsdottir – 4^th Place in High Jump (1.60m/5-3), 11^th Place in 60 Meter Hurdles (9.93)
• Hannah LoChiatto – 6^th Place in High Jump (1.50m/4-11)
• Abigail Danso – 8^th Place in 60 Meter Hurdles (9.09)
• Bernice Mensah – 15^th Place in 60 Meters (8.05)

RECAP

Danso placed 8^th with a finals time of 9.09, but broke a personal record in the preliminaries, logging a time of 9.00, which ranks her 22^nd nationally. 

Worcester State's rookie Asgerdur Jana Agustsdottir, competed in both the high jump and 60 meter hurdles at the event. She came in 4^th in the high jump with a height of 1.60m (5' 3"), while she notched 11^th place in the 60 meter hurdles (9.93). Presently, Agustdottir is ranked in the top-10 of two events nationally (high jump and pentathlon).
