McFadries Named MASCAC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University’s junior javelin thrower, Stephanie McFadries (Burlington, Mass.) has been tabbed the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women’s outdoor field athlete of the week for her performance at the MIT Last Chance Qualifier Meet this past weekend.

WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University's junior javelin thrower, Stephanie McFadries (Burlington, Mass.) has been tabbed the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's outdoor field athlete of the week for her performance at the MIT Last Chance Qualifier Meet this past weekend.

 

She won the javelin throw competition with a top throw of 39.95m (131' 1").  

 

She completed the 2018 outdoor season ranked 26th on the national list with a season best throw of 40.79m (133' 10"), which she registered at the New England Alliance Outdoor Championships.
