Lancers Compete at NEICAAA Championship at UMass-Amherst
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Track and Field team wrapped up their season in a shifted NEICAAA Championship at UMass-Amherst. Initially scheduled to be a two day event, the rainy and stormy spring weather shifted the event to a single compact day of activities.

On the men's side senior Brodie Jaques (Rehoboth, MA) would claim 25th in the long jump with a leap of 6.15m while the 4x100 made up junior Seth Boudreau (Douglas, MA), Jacques, sophomore Tyshawn Craigg (Springfield, MA) and first year Yael Lopez (Milford, MA) would claim 18th with a time of 43.97 seconds.
For the women sophomore Ciara Adu-Addo (Worcester, MA) would claim 16th in the long jump on a 5.24m leap white fellow sophomore Jadah Stokes would claim 19th in the shot put with an 11.96m mark. The lone female track entrant on the day was senior Carly Gilson (Grafton, MA) who finished in 61.25 for a 23rd place finish on the day.
Worcester will now await final placements for consideration to the NCAA DIII Tournament.
