Serafini Opens Indoor Season Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week

Worcester, MA- After a Fifth place showing at Saturday's meet hosted by Suffolk University, first year Anna Serafini (Leominster, MA) was selected as the MASCAC Rookie of the Week.

Serafini led the Lancers with a fifth-place finish in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 11:38.51 at the Suffolk Relays. Currently ninth in the East Region in the event.

Worcester State is back in action on January 18th, when they compete at the Suffolk Ice Breaker Challenge at the Track at New Balance.
