Worcester, MA --- When Lauren Saylor was a student at Case High School, she was one of the most versatile volleyball players to ever wear the maroon and gold uniform. Now, four years later, she leaves a similar legacy on the women's volleyball program at Worcester State College.
Worcester, MA --- Senior standout Lauren Saylor was distinguished with an honorable mention award for her four-year contributions by the New England Women's Volleyball Association on Monday, November 9. Saylor was one of 14 players and three from the MASCAC to be honored.
Westfield, MA --- Third-seeded Worcester State was defeated by #2 Bridgewater State this afternoon in the MASCAC Semifinals. The Lancers were paced by 13 kills from Lauren Saylor and 18 digs by Joanne Greiner.
Buzzards Bay, MA --- Senior outside hitter Lauren Saylor, sophomore Brittany Stoddard and freshman Becky Lebel have each been selected to the All-MASCAC Volleyball team in a vote by league coaches earlier this week.
Bridgewater, MA --- Worcester State went 2-2 at the BSC Halloween Classic on Friday evening-Saturday afternoon as they opened with a 3-0 victory over Mass Maritime and a 3-2 triumph over Framingham State before they fell in consecutive matches Bridgewater State (3-0) and Plymouth State (3-0) on Saturday. Lauren Saylor was selected to the All-Tournament team.
Buzzards Bay, MA --- After losing to Trinity yesterday, the women's volleyball team bounced back to blank Thomas and Mass Maritime this afternoon by equal scores of 3-0. Kristen Koles and Juliana Tyo each notched 17 kills in the pair of victories.
Keene, NH --- Sophomore Joanne Grenier and freshman Becky Lebel each combined for 17 digs, but it was not enough to defeat Keene State this evening. The Owls rolled to a 3-0 victory to improve to 13-15 while the Lancers slip to 11-13 overall.
Buzzards Bay, MA --- Senior outside hitter Lauren Saylor has received the nod as this week's MASCAC Women's Volleyball Player of the Week after she helped propel the Lancers in a pair of conference victories last week.
Framingham, MA --- Worcester State defeated Framingham State 3-1 before losing 3-0 to Westfield State as the Lancers went 1-1 to settle out their MASCAC record to 4-2 in good position for the conference tournament in two weeks.
Worcester, MA --- Lauren Saylor recorded 18 kills and 15 digs for her fourth double-double this season to help propel Worcester State to a 3-2 victory against Salem State in MASCAC women’s volleyball action this evening at the Lancer Gymnasium.
Bridgewater, MA --- The Bridgewater State College volleyball team posted a 3-0 victory over MASCAC rival Worcester State this evening at the Tinsley Center in Bridgewater. Senior Lauren Saylor notched a team-best seven kills while sophomore Brittany Stoddard handed out 18 assists.
Brunswick, ME --- Worcester State went 1-2 at the Mid Coast Classic hosted by Bowdoin this past weekend as they lost to the host Polar Bears and Rivier 3-0 and rebounded with a solid 3-0 triumph over Mount Holyoke. Senior Lauren Saylor was selected to the All-Tournament team.

Brookline, MA --- The Newbury College women’s volleyball team lost to Worcester State College Tuesday evening, in Brookline, MA by a score of 3-1. Senior Lauren Saylor led the way for the Lancers with a match high 12 kills to go with 16 digs. Colleen O'Brien also had 11 kills in the triumph.
North Adams, MA --- Senior Lauren Saylor helped the Lancers jump to 2-0 in the conference with a pair of 3-0 wins this weekend over the Mass Maritime and MCLA.In the triumph against Mass Maritime, Saylor tallied her 1,000th kill.
Worcester, MA --- Western New England College soundly defeated Worcester State this evening, 3-0. Senior Lauren Saylor was the standout for the Lancers as she recorded 11 kills and nine digs in the effort.
