New Orleans, LA --- The Worcester State women’s cross country team has been recognized for its academic excellence this past semester by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as announced by communications assistant Kyle Terwillegar.
Gorham, ME --- Junior Chelsey Peso and senior Ali Barrett both scored in the top 150 as they both helped propel the Worcester State women’s cross country squad to 37th as a team at the NCAA Division III New England Regional qualifier this morning hosted by Southern Maine.

Springfield, MA --- The Worcester State women's cross country team placed eighth out of 22 institutions at the Western New England Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Junior Chelsey Peso paced three Lancers who had finishes in the top 50.
Westfield, MA --- Senior teammates Ali Barrett and Jenna Pickard along with junior Chelsey Peso all placed inside the top 100 to help lead the Worcester State women’s cross country team to finish 17th overall at the James Early 5k Invitational this morning hosted by Westfield State at Stanley Park.
Lincoln, RI --- Freshman Melanie Hunter placed 24th overall to help lead the Worcester State women's cross country team at the Tri-State Invitational hosted by CCRI this afternoon.
Westfield, MA --- Junior Chelsey Peso has been selected as MASCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for helping lead Worcester State to a runner-up finish at the Worcester City Meet.

Northampton, MA --- Sophomore Chelsey Peso finished 14th with a time of 20:21.16 to help lead the Worcester State women’s cross country team place tenth overall out of 19 teams this morning at the Smith Invitational.
