Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Cross-Country took to the course this afternoon for the MASCAC Championship at Stanley Park. Last year the women finished in the third spot behind Westfield State and Bridgewater St, and this year saw them vying to take the championship behind the legs of first year Nina Fonteix (Elancourt, FR) and senior Erica Hanlon (Shrewsbury, MA), who finished in 10th place last year with a time of 21:15 and a spot on the All-Conference Team. After a tight race from all the runners, The Lancers closed out the MASCAC racing season in fifth place.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Cross-Country took to the course today at the James Earley Invitational at Stanley Park in Westfield, MA this afternoon. The team finished 17th out of 25 teams at the race, on a brisk Saturday morning.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Cross-Country team was on the road this afternoon to Lehigh, PA to compete in the Paul Short Invitational against a stacked national competition. The team compiled a team score of 938 on the 6k course.
Worcester, MA - The Lancers’ Men’s and Women’s teams continued their MASCAC Cross Country run at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational today, against several New England-based schools.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s and Women’s Cross-Country team began their season this afternoon at the Suffolk Short Course Classic at Franklin Park. The teams raced against a collection of Division I, II and III programs from across New England.
