Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Ice Hockey team traveled up to Plymouth State in a bid to claim the 3rd MASCAC Championship for Worcester State this year, and their first in program history. The Lancers have won a record setting 10 games in the conference for the first time in program history as they hunt for the first MASCAC championship against an undefeated in conference, Plymouth State.

Worcester, Mass. - After being postponed twice due to weather, Worcester State and Salem State clashed in the MASCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Semifinal Wednesday afternoon at the Fidelity Bank Ice Arena in Worcester. A tense offensive battle included three unanswered goals from the Vikings within the first five minutes of the second period, followed by a comeback in the third period by the Lancers to take the lead. The Vikings would not give up, as a last second effort within the final seconds of the game turned into a goal from senior Luke Pepin (Lee, NH) to force overtime.

Worcester, Mass. - The Lancers returned home Saturday afternoon to cap off their regular season with a conference matchup against Fitchburg State at the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center.

Worcester, Mass. - With a top seed in the MASCAC Tournament up for grabs, the Lancers hosted Framingham State Thursday evening in their second to last home game of the regular season. The game was in conjunction with the Ellie Fund, Fund, a local non profit that was created to provide essential support services for breast cancer patients in Massachusetts to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery and healing. The game ended as a historical night as the Lancers’ victory over the Rams marks the first time in their history that the Worcester State Men’s Ice Hockey program has 10 wins in the MASCAC.

Worcester, Mass. - The Lancers were back home to host Salem State in MASCAC action at the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center. Two goals from Deiter Stange helped surge the team to the conference victory.

Worcester, Mass. - After three games on the road, the Lancers returned home to the Worcester Ice Center Thursday evening, looking to extend their win streak against the undefeated Plymouth State Panthers in MASCAC action. An early lead for the Lancers was unfortunately not enough as they ultimately fell to the Panthers.

Worcester, MA- Coming off a pair of wins to start 2023, the Worcester State University Men’s Hockey team paid conference foes Westfield State University another visit this evening looking to continue the stretch of victories. The Owls and Lancers last met in mid-December at the DCU Center in a game in which Worcester State was able to come away with a 5-2 victory, and though the venue differed tonight, the result did not as the Lancers once again came out on top.

Worcester, MA- On Saturday evening, the Worcester State Men’s Hockey team was back in action to take on Saint Anselm in a road contest. The Lancers defeated the Hawks in commanding fashion 6-0.

Worcester, MA-The Lancers traveled to visit UMass-Dartmouth for their first conference battle of the season earlier this evening looking for both their first conference and season win. Worcester State was able to start their MASCAC journey on a high note with a statement victory over UMass-Dartmouth.

Worcester, MA- Worcester State’s men’s hockey team opened their season today with a late-Afternoon game against the Assumption University Greyhounds in the first round of the Woo Cup. With the winner advancing to tomorrow’s Woo Cup final, the Lancers and Greyhounds had something to play for in their first bout of the season. The Greyhounds would come out on top in an offense-heavy 7-5 game.
