Lancers Keep Pace at UMass-Dartmouth Invite
Worcester, MA- In their third meet of the season the Worcester State Men’s Cross Country team heads to UMass-Dartmouth for their annual invite. The Lancers were led by Ryan Wing who placed 144 in the Men’s Gold 8k Run at UMass-Dartmouth. The race on the day was split into two races with Liam Dietz claiming the top spot for Worcester in 96th in the Men’s Navy 8k Race.

The race on the day was split into two races with Liam Dietz claiming the top spot for Worcester in 96th in the Men's Navy 8k Race.
Wing would wrap up his race in a time of 27:37.91 for 144th. He was followed by first year Andrew Feinblatt (Framingham, MA) who crossed in a time of 29:01.62 as the second fastest runner on the day. Deitz crossed in a time of 29:23.73 for the third on the day. Sophomore Daniel Smith (Medway, MA) claimed the time of 29:40.14 in the Gold race for fourth on the day with sophomore Taku Pettengill ( Shirley, MA) claiming the fifth fastest time at 30:17.28. Graduate student Alexander Lucier (Gardner, MA) would cross the finish line at 30:40.11 and first year Youness Chahid (Revere, MA) at 31:40.73 for the sixth and seventh fastest at the UMass-Dartmouth Invite.
The Blue and Gold will be back on the course on October 11th as they head to Westfield State for the Jim Earley Invitational.
