Louisville, KY --- Junior Meghan Rich and sophomore Rachel Couto have both been named to the All-New England National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Third-team in a vote by the regions head coaches as announced by association publicist Dave Hines.
Worcester, MA --- Second-seeded MCLA used a five-run uprising in the top of the tenth to defeat #1 Worcester State, 8-4, in the winners bracket game of the MASCAC Softball Tournament semifinals. Sophomore Rachel Couto had three hits and three RBIs in the setback while freshman Samantha Rivers added two base-knocks.

Hartford, CT --- Trinity dispatched Worcester State, 7-1 and 9-1 in five innings, this afternoon in non-league softball action. Sophomore Courtney Salisbury paced the Lancers with three hits and two runs scored in the twinbill.
North Adams, MA --- Junior Sara Pelletier chipped in with four hits and three runs scored to help Worcester State sweep MCLA, 3-0 and 1-0, this afternoon in MASCAC softball action at the Zavattaro Field.
Worcester, MA --- Worcester State was defeated twice by Western Connecticut, 6-2 and 14-7, in non-conference softball action this evening at Rockwood Park. Sophomore Rachel Couto and junior Hayley Terry both logged for hits apiece in the doubleheader for the Blue and Gold.
Worcester, MA --- Worcester State and Westfield State split a doubleheader series this afternoon at Alumni Field in MASCAC softball action. Junior teammates Meghan Rich and Hayley Terry were instrumental in the Lancers 3-2 opening win before dropping the nightcap, 6-1.

Worcester, MA --- Sophomore Rachel Couto tallied four base-knocks with a triple and junior Meghan Rich picked up a pair of wins as Worcester State defeated Nichols twice this evening in non-conference softball action at Rockwood Park.
Providence, RI --- Worcester State was defeated by Rhode Island College, 11-10, in eight innings and 2-1, this evening in non-conference softball action. Senior Katie Storro had six hits, three runs and four RBI to pace the Lancers in the losses.
Fitchburg, MA --- Worcester State and Fitchburg State split their MASCAC softball series this afternoon at Coolidge Park. Junior Meghan Rich twirled a five-hit shutout to help pace a 4-0 victory in the opener before Falcon senior Brittany Whiting blanked the Lancers, 3-0, in the nightcap.
