Worcester, MA --- Director of Athletics Sue Chapman has announced that current women’s tennis assistant coach Albana Xhemollari will take over the reigns as the new head coach of the program.
N. Dartmouth, MA --- Junior Erin Desmarais and sophomore teammates Laura Sarkis and Brooke Michanczyk have all been named to the Little East Fall All-Academic team as announced by media relations director Jack Holleran.
Danbury, CT --- Junior Erin Desmaris, sophomore Brooke Michanczyk and freshman Miranda Biron all posted wins in singles and doubles action to help lead Worcester State to a 6-3 victory over Western Connecticut in their season finale.
Gorham, ME --- Worcester State dropped a 9-0 road loss to Southern Maine this afternoon in Little East Conference women's tennis action. Freshman Taylor Tomasetti and Lisa Higgins along with sophomore's Brooke Michanczyk and Laura Sarkis all were defeated in close sets during singles play.
Boston, MA --- Worcester State was defeated at the BC High Tennis Courts, 7-2, by UMass Boston this afternoon in Little East Conference women's tennis action. Sophomore Brooke Michanzyk and freshman Miranda Biron posted the lone wins in singles action for the Lancers.
Shrewsbury, MA --- Bridgewater State took all six singles matches and all three doubles contests to defeat Worcester State, 9-0, in Little East Conference women’s tennis action this afternoon at Shrewsbury High. Freshman Miranda Biron and sophomore Laura Sarkis had the closest matches of the afternoon in the setback to the Bears who are unbeaten in LEC play.

Paxton, MA --- Worcester State took home victories in five singles matches and a pair of doubles points to defeat Anna Maria, 7-2, this afternoon in non conference women’s tennis. Freshman classmates Taylor Tomasetti and Miranda Biron along with sophomore's Brooke Michanczyk and Laura Sarkis and junior Erin Desmaris all won their respective singles matches.
Worcester, MA --- UMass Dartmouth handed Worcester State a hard-fought 9-0 defeat in Little East Conference women’s tennis action this afternoon at Clark University. Sophomores Brooke Michanczyk and Laura Sarkis eached forced tiebreakers in their matches for the Lancers.
Providence, RI --- Rhode Island College won three singles matches and a pair of doubles points to defeat Worcester State, 5-4, in Little East Conference women’s tennis action on Saturday afternoon. Junior Erin Desmarais was victorious in her fifth singles match-up and at third doubles.
Worcester, MA --- Worcester State took five out of six singles points and all three doubles matches to defeat MCLA, 8-1, in non-conference women’s tennis action this afternoon at Clark University.
Leicester, MA --- Freshman Miranda Biron and sophomore Laura Sarkis won in fifth and sixth singles while freshman Lisa Higgins and Erin Desmarais captured the third doubles match against host Becker. The Hawks defeated the Lancers, 6-3, in non-conference play this afternoon.

Dorchester, MA --- Freshman Danielle Candelieri won at second singles before she teammed with classmate Taylor Tomasetti to earn a triumph at first doubles as Worcester State lost, 5-4, to Wentworth this afternoon. First-year Miranda Biron and sophomore Laura Sarkis also earned wins in the defeat.
