Jankins Named to Little East Conference Women’s Tennis All-Conference Team

WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University's senior captain, Shelby Jankins (W. Brookfield, Mass.) has been named to the Little East Conference (LEC) All-Conference First Team, as announced by the conference Tuesday (Nov. 1) afternoon.

Jankins faced tough competition all season long as the Lancers' No. 1 flight performer, finishing the season with a 3-10 overall record. During her time at Worcester State, Jankins has accumulated a total of 56 points, good for second place in the Worcester State record book. Her overall singles record stands at 22-35, while she is 34-26 in doubles competition.

Joining Jankins on the All-Conference First Team Singles are LEC women's tennis player of the year, Dayna Reilly of Rhode Island College, LEC women's tennis rookie of the year, Emma Chapman of Western Connecticut, Jenna Lahaie of UMass Dartmouth, Kristy Garcia of UMass Boston, and Bojana Roman of Bridgewater State.
