As a First Year:
Fiona competed in all 27 games her freshman season...rallied 13 points including two goals and eleven assists... she ended the season with a +13... scored the overtime game winner in the ECHA Championship game to knotch first place for her team on the season... Female Rookie of the Year for the 2023-2024 season...made collegiate debut on October 27th at UMass-Boston

Fiona was born in Fairbanks, AK...is majoring in computer science and communications at Worcester State...the daughter of Shaun Hatton and Michelle Morton...has one sibling, Seamus...chose worcester state for the welcoming feel and the great people on the hockey team
Before Worcester State:
Fiona is a 2022 graduate of Homer High School in Homer, AK...played four years of varsity ice hockey and two years of cross country for the Mariners...member of the State Champion Hockey Team in 2018 and 2021...MSHSL State Hockey Consolation Champions in 2022....named All-Conference Academic in 2022...Runner-up U19 T2 Girls USA Hockey National Championship in 2023

Worcester, MA- In a return to 2025 ice, the Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey team (5-5, 4-1) journey to Salem to face off with future MASCAC conference opponent Salem State. Salem is in their final year with the NEHC and will become members of the newly formed MASCAC Women’s Ice Hockey conference next season. Worcester looks to get back on their winning streak after a tough loss to round out 2024 at Castleton.
