Worcester, MA- Worcester State hosted the MASCAC Championship on Saturday as the top seed in the 2026 MASCAC tournament. The Lancers were undefeated through conference after defeating Framingham State on Thursday night. Westfield State entered the game after a close final minute victory over Bridgewater State on Thursday, with just a single loss courtesy of the Lancers back on April 21st.
Worcester, MA- In a rematch of last year's 2025 MASCAC Championship game, the #1 seed Worcester State Lancers hosted the #4 seed Framingham State Rams on Coughlin Field. Last season's championship ended with Worcester claiming their first MASCAC Championship, defeating the Rams 13-11. Framingham and Worcester met earlier this season on Coughlin field, where Worcester managed to claim a 14-10 victory. Framingham entered the game with a victory over Fitchburg State, 18-3, this past Tuesday in the MASCAC quarterfinals.
Worcester, MA- After taking down the Rams on Wednesday night, the Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team (9-5, 4-0) journeyed to Mass. Maritime to take on the Buccaneers in a road conference trip that could help the Lancers solidify a top two finish in conference.

The morning's action was also in honor of the 2026 senior class of Amanda Palmisano (Woburn, MA), McKayla Fisher (Peabody, MA), Shannon Donahue (Dennis, MA), Alli Guay (Westfield, MA), and Molly Witkowski (Greenville, NY).

The One Love Foundation is a national non-profit with the goal of ending relationship abuse. Worcester, MA - This evening's game, the Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse (2-2, 0-0) second home game of the season, was played in tribute to student athlete Evan Armit, who passed away last August after a courageous battle with metastatic melanoma. The team wore black ribbons and shirts in honor of Armit in tribute to his lasting legacy at Worcester State. The Lancers hosted the Wildcats of Johnson and Wales in an early week battle, and their last before the team heads on Spring break this weekend.

Worcester, MA- After starting the season on the road, the Worcester State Women’s lacrosse team (1-1, 0-0) hosted its home opener today with a Hair Havoc/Rosen Cancer Awareness Game at Coughlin Field. While spectators were not allowed in the stadium as a result of the recent weather, each team still honored the causes with their game day hair and Pink Rosen T-Shirts to help raise awareness. The Headstrong Foundation is relentless in improving the quality of life for those affected by cancer. With every action that we take, we are fulfilling the vision of the late Nicholas Colleluori, our founder. Nick’s last wish was that others would benefit from his journey. The Rosen Cancer Awareness Fund aims to provide a robust curriculum that supports peer-to-peer education regarding early cancer detection. The importance of Raising Awareness in our young people, particularly Worcester State students, has never been more important and can effectively expedite important educational initiatives to curb the prevalence of late-stage cancer detection and increase longevity.
