Worcester, MA- After claiming their first conference championship in program history, the Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team had three named to the MASCAC weekly honors. Seniors Hannah Erickson (Dunstable, MA) and Olivia LaValle (Peabody, MA) along with first year Alexis Hurley (Feeding Hills, MA) took home the recognition.
Worcester, MA- For the first time ever the Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse Team (12-6, 5-1) hosted the MASCAC Championship. Coming into the game as the one seed, the Lancers defeated fourth seeded Bridgewater State 19-14 to advance to the Championship. The third seeded Framingham State Rams (10-8, 4-2) upset the second seeded Westfield State Owls in overtime 9-8 to place themselves in the position of a potential bid to the NCAA tournament.
Worcester, MA- After a strong showing from Bridgewater State (14-4, 4-2) versus Salem State on Tuesday night, the fourth seeded Bears travelled to the one seed Worcester State Lancers (11-6, 5-1) for the MASCAC Semifinals. Worcester is hosting the semifinals as the one seed for the first time in program history after claiming wins over Framingham State and Westfield State during the regular season. The Bears came into the game with the surprising slight edge over the Lancers as the Bears dealt Worcester their only conference loss of the season in the conference opener back in March.
Worcester, MA- In the final game of the regular season the Lancers look to lock up the number one seed into the postseason as they face off with Fitchburg State on a blustery and rainy end of season weekend. Worcester State Lacrosse (10-6, 4-1) controlled their own fate in today’s game with a win today securing the Tuesday bye and home hosting rights through the playoffs. Maritime in this year's annual One Love Game. Founded in honor of UVA student-athlete Yeardley Love, One Love is a national nonprofit that provides prevention education to young people about the importance of healthy relationships, empowering them to identify and avoid abuse.

The Lancers are looking for their first win versus the Owls since the 2014 season, a win tonight could set them up for a top seed in the postseason.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team (5-6, 0-1) is back home this evening as they host the Western New England Golden Bears in the annual Pink Out Game. Today's game is played in partnership with the Rosen Cancer Awareness Fund, which aims to help raise awareness for research, testing and symptoms. Donations are actively being collected to support the campaign.
