Deiter was born in Niles, Ill...is majoring in business administration at Worcester State...the son of Wolfgang and Lori Stange...has one older brother, Gunther, who is also a member of the Worcester State men's ice hockey team

Deiter is a 2017 graduate of Maine South High School in Park Ridge, Ill...played his junior hockey for the New York Aviators of the USPHL
